may being collected and processed for the purpose of conducting the “I&U Around the World Challenge 2025.”

When using the Teamfit app, which is used to run the “I&U Around the World Challenge 2025,” additional data will be processed in addition to the data mentioned above. A detailed overview of the type of data mentioned above and other data processed can be found at the following link https://www.teamfit.eu/en/privacy-policy/ , under the heading “Types of data processed / Special notes on applications (apps)”.

This consent can be revoked at any time without providing a reason. To revoke consent, an email should be sent to dataprotection@teamfit.eu with the request to withdraw consent.

The personal data will be deleted after the end of the Challenge.

By submitting the form, you consent to the processing of your personal data by Teamfit and IU International University for the purposes of the “I&U Around the World Challenge 2025.”

A. Purpose and legal basis of data processing

We collect your personal data for the purpose of organizing the Challenge..

Participation in the Challenge is voluntary.

The legal basis for the collection and processing of your personal data is your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

C. Deletion

We will delete your personal data after the end of the Challenge.

D. Data sharing

For the purpose of conducting the “I&U Around the World Challenge 2025,” your personal data will be shared between IU International University and the platform service provider Teamfit.

Appropriate safeguards have been agreed upon for the transfer of your personal data to a third country.

E. Rights of data subjects

As a data subject, you are entitled to various rights under the GDPR, particularly as outlined in Articles 15 to 21 GDPR:

• Right to object: You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you which is based on point (e) or (f) of Article 6(1) GDPR, including profiling based on those provisions. If your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to such processing, including profiling related to direct marketing.

• Right to information: You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed and to obtain information about this data, along with further details and a copy of the data, as provided by law.

• Complaint to the supervisory authority: In accordance with statutory provisions and without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State where you are habitually resident, where you work, or where the alleged infringement occurred, if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes the GDPR.

Use of the Teamfit app requires consent to the processing of personal data as described in this privacy policy. If this consent is revoked, the app can no longer be used, and the user data and account must be irrevocably deleted.
