Meal Prep Weekly Plan – Healthy and Efficient Meal Prepping

Meal Prep Weekly Plan – Healthy and Efficient Meal Prepping

Save time, eat healthier, and reduce stress – a meal prep weekly plan makes it all possible! Find out how to efficiently and flexibly prepare meals for the entire week, which recipes work best, and how to create your own personalised plan.

What is Meal Prep and why is a weekly plan worth it?

Meal prep stands for "meal preparation" and means planning and preparing meals in advance. The goal is to save time, money, and stress by cooking dishes for several days or the entire week ahead of time. It's about having healthy and balanced meals readily available without having to cook from scratch every day.

With a meal prep weekly plan, you only need to think about your meals once a week: plan, shop, cook. After that, your mind is free for the rest of the week and you have more time for other things.

Meal Prep Recipes for Every Meal

Below, we have put together a few recipe ideas for every meal. These are presented as a kind of modular system. This means we introduce you to the basic recipe and its properties (e.g. shelf life), so you can adapt the recipe to your individual preferences and scale the quantities to suit you and your daily routine. You decide what you want to eat during the week, how much you cook, and how often you include it in your weekly plan.

Do you want to eat the same dish all week? Then put 3 to 4 portions straight into the fridge after preparation and freeze the rest (if suitable). About three days later, move the desired portions for the second half of the week to the fridge to thaw – this way your meals stay fresh until the end of the week! You can also extend this idea and pre-cook for two or more weeks at a time.
