Muesli Bar Deluxe

Get the power and nutrients you need for your workout with our Muesli Bar Deluxes. The bars are healthy, quick to prepare and taste truly fantastic. We hope you enjoy giving them a go!

Ingredients

  • 100g Rolled oats 
  • 50g Sprouted buckwheat
  • 30g Sesame seeds 
  • 3 tbsp Linseed
  • 50g Dates, cranberries, or sultanas
  • 4 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 100g Date syrup
  • 2 tbsp Nut puree (almond, peanut, or hazelnut) 
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice 
  • 2 tbsp Water 
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

Our tip for the perfect Muesli Bar Deluxe

Sprouted and roasted buckwheat can now be purchased ready-made and is a great flavour addition to the bar. If you can’t find them, simply leave the buckwheat seeds in a bowl of water overnight. Tip out the water and leave them in a sieve or on damp kitchen paper for another day and then process them as described above.

Preparation and recipe

Without using any oil, toast the rolled oats, sprouted buckwheat and sesame seeds in a hot pan – tossing constantly – then set aside. Grind the linseed in a blender, chop the dates into fine pieces and add both to the mixture.

Heat the coconut oil in a saucepan. Stir in the date syrup, nut puree, lemon juice, water and cinnamon. Add the cereal mix and mix well. Line a loaf tin with baking paper. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into it. Bake in the oven at approx. 150 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Remove before the oat flakes turn dark brown. Lift the mixture out of the tin, leave to cool for at least 1 hour and cut into bars.
